TLC Careers was formed with the focus of providing high quality vocational services as set forth by the Labor Code and the Rehabilitation Bureau Administration Guidelines, and, to do it all above industry standards. |

We believe that the funds belong to the Injured Employee for the purpose of returning them to the workforce. |

TLC Careers’ goal is to provide each Injured Employee with quality services. This means making accurate vocational diagnoses quickly and to formulate realistic vocational plans that will provide a “reasonable opportunity to return to suitable gainful employment.” We keep in mind and practice that there is no conflict between good rehabilitation service and sound economic practice. The most valuable tool of the trade for a counselor is the person-to-person relationship built with the client. When the Injured Employee recognizes the sincerity of the client-counselor interaction, and the genuine concern in seeing them return to work, you usually get an involved and motivated client. |

The TLC Careers Office uses state of the art computers and software to obtain efficient and cost effective communication between all parties. This means reports are produced in a timely manner. Since we also handle many outlying remote areas (see our geographic areas served page), we are able to communicate with many of our clients via their home computers and email information back and forth more efficiently than standard methods. This avoids travel costs and postage delays. We can utilize the internet for job search and resume submission for companies which request new electronic filing such as hospitals, and can download employment application forms for state and county areas without having our clients drive there to pick them up in person. This saves us all time and money. |
